PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE MUSEUM

Since 1 November 2013, the Mart has invited visitors to freely take photographs in the exhibition galleries on the second floor of the museum.

We are only too pleased if you take photos, share them with the free wifi service of the Mart, and comment on them at home or on the web.

As always, there are rules that we invite you to follow. You can shoot photos only after having read and understood these rules, easily accessible on the web and at the museum. The Mart assumes in good faith that visitors will always respect them to the letter. If you don’t, you are limiting everyone’s freedom, including your own.

1. Those who take photographs are required to verify the existence of any copyrights relative to the works photographed and assume personal responsibility for any illegal conduct deriving from the dissemination and possible commercial exploitation of their photos. The fact that the Mart allows visitors to take photographs does not mean in any way that it assumes any responsibility deriving from the improper use of those photos.

2. You cannot photograph everywhere. In some specific areas it may be prohibited. Check the instructions on the walls or ask the gallery personnel. If you see this sign, photography is permitted.

3. Do not use flash, which in any case is unnecessary.

4. Do not disturb other people, and do not endanger the artworks by getting too close.

5. Photographs can be taken only with non-professional equipment (pocket cameras, smartphones or tablets).
